Second-hand sleeper information?

Our second hand railway sleepers are of good quality with few defects. These railway sleepers are hardwood with a creosote treatment, which means they are particularly suitable for use with ground contact.

This means these recycled railway sleepers are used for all types of landscaping projects such as retaining walls, steps and fencing. Other popular uses for reclaimed railway sleepers are in the garden in raised beds, kerbing and edging.

Please note that these railway sleepers are treated with creosote. As such these railway sleepers should not be used when frequent skin contact may occur or as part of a garden bed to grow vegetables.
