Raised Pond
In this example we have used new softwood railway sleepers. This design will allow for a maximum depth of 400mm of water above the ground. It is recommended that you dig out 200mm to give the pond an overall depth of around 600mm. This should provide your fish with sufficient depth to survive during the winter. There may be some additional items required that Sleeper Supplies do not stock. Please refer to our PDF instructions for more details.
